The Peddie Aquatic
Association is a year round senior and age group level swim program
which holds membership with the USA Swimming
Organization, and is recognized as a "Silver Medal" Club in it's Club Excellence Program. PAA offers
professional coaching and technique instruction to the competitive
swimmer and is committed to personal development within the
team’s structure.
The team consists of
approximately 160 athletes ranging in age from 5 years old to
seniors in high school. Membership includes swimmers from many
neighboring towns, as well as the Hightstown area. The team trains
in the NEW PEDDIE POOL adjacent to the Ian Graham
Athletic Center on the Peddie School campus. The driveway to
the athletic center is located just off Etra Road in Hightstown.

PAA is a highly
competitive swim team, with its members consistently competing at
the top of their age group at the state level, and going on to
regional meets. We are constantly striving to produce happy
well-adjusted swim team members who carry a love for the sport
through college, and their adult lives.
PAA competes year round
with three seasons, holding
try-outs for new team members in August and possibly in the
spring of each year if openings exist. Swim team practices are
weeknights between 5:30 and 9:00 pm, and Saturday mornings from
6:00 am to 10:30 am. Commitment levels vary from practices 2 days a
week to 6 days a week depending on age and ability.
Since it's revival in
1993, PAA has experienced much growth and success. Greg Wriede
assumed the role of Head Coach of PAA in the spring of 2011. In
addition, PAA is staffed by other very committed, experienced, and
enthusiastic coaches.
