Meet The Coaches

Pam Owens – Falcon 2 Coach

Pam grew up in Cranbury, and began swimming competitively at the age of 5. She was a member of the Cranbury Swim Team as well as PAA. She was a strong age-grouper in the area, and was a top 8/under backstroker in her division. Pam graduated from the Peddie School in 1982 where she was a varsity member of the swim team as well as the field hockey and softball teams. Pam went on to Gettysburg College, where she was a middle-distance freestyler, and then went on to be the first student coach they ever hired. She graduated with a B.A. in psychology and elementary education. Pam has been a kindergarten teacher in Allentown, NJ since 1986. She is a highly decorated teacher with several prestigious awards, including “Teacher of the Year” in 2000. Pam has coached the Cranbury Swim Team since 1985, and most recently has brought them to division champions. She has been coaching Peddie since 1999, and has worked with various ages and abilities and has been extremely successful with motivation as well as instilling a love for the sport! Pam lives in Allentown with her husband, Dale, and daughters Maggie (on the Peddie Varsity Team) and Taylor, who swims on the age-group team.
