Open & Lap Swim

Open Swim will resume on Monday, September 15, 2008 and run through June 12, 2009. The pool is located in the Ian H. Graham Athletic Center on the campus of The Peddie School.

The hours for Open Swim this year are the same as last year:

Please mark your calendars of these closings. Please be advised that there may be some last minute closings due to weather, pool conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. Please be patient. We will keep you as apprised of the situations as possible. There are times when it is out of our hands. We truly enjoy supplying this service to the community.

2008-2009 Fees

No children under 18 permitted during Open Swim.

The check in policy will be to sign in at the Lifeguard desk. You must fill out a release form the first time you come. After filling out the release form, your name will appear on the registration list. You must check in by placing the date next to your name on the list. This will eliminate the need for membership cards. Guests must sign a release form.

You do not need to mail in a release form, however please leave extra time the first time you come in to fill out the registration forms.

In the event that there is inclement weather, please call Sue Cozzone’s voice mailbox at 609-490-7564. There will be a message in the box explaining if Open Swim is cancelled.

As was the case last year, lockers will not be supplied to the Open Swimmers. They are reserved for the Peddie students. There simply are not enough lockers to go around, and it has caused problems in the past. Please do not bring valuables into the pool, as we cannot be responsible for them.
